Jeremy C.J. Duder, 43, Matawan resident, loved the outdoors

Jeremy C.J. Duder, 43, of Matawan, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, of neurofibromatosis brain cancer.

Jeremy was born in New Zealand and grew up in New Jersey. A Boy Scout in his childhood, Jeremy loved the outdoors.

He also enjoyed sailing on the Navesink River and loved spending summers in South Hero, Vt.

He was a lifelong Yankees fan.

Jeremy was a graduate of Hofstra University, where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.

He lived his life surrounded by loving friends and colleagues. He will be remembered for his generous and beautiful spirit, gentle heart and unwavering compassion.

He was the beloved husband of Megan Paulus and the devoted father of Aidan Duder; the loving brother of Katie Duder; and the cherished son of Nancy McLure, and stepfather Frank Siwiec, and John Duder, and stepmother Anne Mele.

Jeremy is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as his loyal pets.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service to be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18, at the First Presbyterian Church of Matawan, 883 Route 34, Matawan, where his family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. until time of service.
